Expected Value gets "Down and Dirty"

Sound designer Austen Brown and visual artist Shaun Baer collaborate to create Expected Value an environmental piece where the audience continuously changes their spatial relationship to sound and sculpture, allowing singular sounds to be arranged by the audiences perception of space and expectation.

Within a bare room a sculpture will be shaped in a uniform ⅛ circle, producing short bursts of sound. There will be a point in the room that is equidistant from every part of the sculpture, where each burst of sound is heard uniformly.

The audience and listener will transform Expected Value with their personal choice/perception to the spatial relationship.
