Seven Tragedies of Consumer Desire
Seven Tragedies of Consumer Desire is part of my
full-length solo performance, Triskaidekaphobia: 13 Consumer Tragedies. The
show is a collection of stories, moments, images, and memorabilia from almost a
decade of research about our everyday lives as consumers. From my own
experiences as a retail clerk at a large box store to others’ distinctive,
sometimes bizarre, customer service interactions, I explore what it means to be
a consumer today, and how it all might change tomorrow. PWYC$5-$10. 35 min.

For those who I love
Love and hate collide in a complicated mother daughter
relationship where chaotic and sensual dancing allows for underlying realities
to surface. Without Dolly Parton and John Rambo, none of this would occur. Alie
makes conversations that frame themselves on her body as they voice their
opinions about love and hate.PWYC.

Performed in her apartment.
The internet allows us to have unlimited access to friends and family virtually
at any time. However, the cyber presence of our loved ones is at the mercy of
technical difficulty, rick of over exposure, and is never the same as the real,
physical thing. NET explores how technology affects our most intimate
relationships. Even more terrifying is the possibility that it is not the mode
of communication that is the problem, but the relationship itself. 1428 South
